A direct contribution towards buying durable training equipment, such as a Tri-tennis wall.
Sports development
Funding for youth tennis, accessibility, school sport or new members — equipment can be part of the project.
Tax benefits
Deductions, special tax regimes or VAT advantages for sports clubs and their donors.
Business sponsoring
A local company funds the equipment in exchange for visibility, e.g. its logo printed on the wall.
Local & EU funds

European funding: Erasmus+ Sport
Organisations from different countries can work together on sports projects, for example:
- New training methods for youth tennis
- Inclusive sports programmes
- Innovative, accessible training formats
- Cooperation between tennis schools and clubs
Erasmus+ is not a general purchase subsidy: a training device can only be part of the project budget when it fits the project goals and funding rules.
Let a local business sponsor your wall
Commercially just as interesting as a subsidy: a company supports your club, gains local visibility (e.g. its logo printed on the Tri-tennis wall) and may be able to deduct the costs as business expenses.
| Sponsoring | Donation | |
|---|---|---|
| Company gets advertising | Yes | No |
| Tax treatment | Possibly business expense | Possibly gift deduction |
| Example | Logo on the Tri-tennis wall, website and boards | Company donates a wall without anything in return |
| Condition | Demonstrable business interest | Right tax status of the receiving club |
Example: a company sponsors a Tri-tennis wall
Illustration only — not a fixed subsidy percentage or tax rate. The real outcome depends on the type of business, applicable rate, deductibility and VAT treatment.
